The city continues its expansion in the north with an urbanization with a capacity for 1,000 homes and 26,000 m2 of green areas (24/06/2019)

The councilman of Sustainable Development and Huerta has visited this morning the urbanization works, which affect an area of ​​74,000 m2 between the avenues Juan Carlos I and Juan de Borbón, and from Prince of Asturias and Senda de Granada.

The management of the land will involve the cession to the City Council of 55,000 m2 for green areas, equipment and road, in addition to 10% of the use.

The growth of the city will experience a significant advance in the coming months when the urbanization works that are carried out in an area of ​​73,911 m2, in a bag of land located between the avenues Juan Carlos I and Juan de Borbón, and from Prince of Asturias and Senda de Granada.

The area, which is the area of ​​natural expansion of the city, is for residential use, with capacity for nearly a thousand long-term housing, distributed in blocks of 12 heights plus attic maximum.

The City will obtain 55,475 m2 of cession of promoters, of which 26,626 m2 will be green areas, where will be planted 58 orange trees and 171 specimens of tipuanas, prunnus, cupressus semperv.

stricta, washingtonia and celtis australis palm trees, in addition to 1,987 m2 of aromatic plants and 14,264 m2 of grassland.

The landscaped space will have separate areas covered and differentiated for children from 2 to 5 years old and from 6 to 12 years old, together with another senior and a multi-purpose track of 1,725 ​​m2 will be enabled.

Also, the City will receive a plot of 17,338 m2 for equipment, located next to the Center for Municipal Initiatives, and 11,331 m2 of land for road.

The assignments are completed with another plot that constitutes 10% of the use.

The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, visited this morning the surroundings of the urbanization works, which are expected to be concluded in the last quarter of the year.

The promoters of the area are Murcian companies -IDUR and Profusa-, which will make an investment of close to 11,878,000 euros.
