The music resounds in the Patio of the Las Claras Cultural Center (24/06/2019)

The exhibition 'Seduced by reality' will extend its visiting hours until 10 pm on the occasion of this cycle

The II Cycle of concerts 'Las Claras sounds' will be held in the Patio of Las Claras Cultural Center.

All performances, with free admission until full capacity, start at 8:00 p.m.

The new edition returns to recover this historic space located in the heart of the city for the celebration of small format concerts on summer nights.

The musicians Vasco Hernández and Pepe Abellán -guitar flamenco and percussion- will be in charge of opening the cycle tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25, with an intimate concert that is part of the international tour that has just concluded in the United States.

Combining a wide rhythmic range with a deep melodic sense, the two artists get clean and energetic compositions of sounds.

On Wednesday, June 26, it will be the turn of Oh Brother !, a band made up of singers and guitarists Miguel Bañón (Los Marañones), Carlos Vudú (Carlos Vudú and the Jukebox Clan) and Pito Hervás (Vencejo), who will also be on this occasion accompanied by Raúl García on drums and percussion.

Together they form a quartet that dares to play daring acoustic versions in the purest American folk style, with rich and impasto vocal harmonies that flow on a careful instrumentation.

The third event of the program, on Thursday June 27, will be the Entrecomicjazz show, which will bring together the musician Maxi Garcés, the comic artist Juan Álvarez and the technician Ginés Garcés on stage.

This original artistic project combines musical performance - jazz standards, its own themes and a classic touch - with the live performance of a succession of comics by the artist.

Finally, Fictoria & Gallego will close the cycle on Friday, June 28, with rhythms and voices of 'Afrosamba'.

In this concert, Miguel Gallego and Jesús Fictoria will perform a repertoire that covers the music of South America in what they call 'Ambush tropical'.

"A dance by the tightrope where not everything is written, the emotion of an unpublished musical journey," they say.
