This past Saturday, June 22, the call for the fifth edition of the Beniaján Microacciona Festival has been made public, a bet that starts again from the network work coordinated between the Beniaján Auditorium and the Community Development Center "La Estación".
The Department of Culture of the City of Murcia and Cepaim Foundation co-financed these grants.
This opens a new opportunity to present artistic research projects focused on social action in the territory of Beniaján, of which six will be chosen with an allocation of € 700 for each and whose implementation is expected during the next autumn.
The proposals will be directed by professionals from the artistic sector and social intervention, based on research processes on the territory and then developed into participatory actions with creative and community art.
The microactions of previous editions have addressed, among many other themes, gender, interculturality or heritage values of the area, always in response to realities detected in Beniaján, involving the public and using the most diverse artistic disciplines as a means of recognition , of expression and transformation.
The deadline for submission of projects ends on July 12 and the rules governing this call can be found at www.enclavecultura.com and www.laestaciondebeniajan.com.
