The Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation, which directs in functions Conchita Ruiz, celebrates next Sunday, day 16, the day "Put yourself in my skin", whose objective is to eradicate violence against women in all its forms, in the municipal scope.
The event will take place from 10 am to 2 pm at the San Pío X Cultural Center and various associations of immigrants have collaborated with it, whose lines of work are the prevention and early detection of situations of violence against women.
With this initiative is intended to make them visible in this day and promote the association.
The day is open to the public, without the need for prior registration.
It will start with a round table on 'Rights and public resources for the prevention and attention of situations of gender violence', moderated by a municipal social educator, in which the head of the Women's Section of the Town Hall and the legal advisor of EMAVI will participate.
At 10.45 the 'Network of social support and associations' will be addressed, which will involve representatives of the associations Kasofor, Amfrica, ASEDI, Flor Árabe, Ruminahui and Federation of African Associations in Murcia, and moderates the head of section of Prevention and Social Insertion of the City Council.
A presentation on 'The new masculinities', by Santiago Fernández, of the Association of Men for Gender Equality (AHIJE) and a group dynamic, 'Women and Men and vice versa', with the specialist in gender violence prevention Carmen Castillo, will close the day.
