The Councilor for Infrastructure, Works and Public Services, Rebeca Pérez, has visited the paving works that are being developed in Juan de la Cierva Street, in the section from the main avenue to the Calle Mayor Clemente García, located in the West Industrial Estate.
These works will improve the condition of the road, since it is a street heavily traveled by vehicles and is currently deteriorated.
In this way, a safer circulation will be achieved and pedestrian crossings and existing signs will also be renewed.
In this stretch of street has been demolished two thirds of the existing pavement, to extend two layers of hot asphalt agglomerate throughout the surface of action.
In the rest of the street, we will use a milling and agglomerate, in addition to reviewing and cleaning the existing scuppers.
To carry out this work, it has been taken into account the leveling of records and manholes, the replacement of vertical and horizontal signs and, in general, the repair and replacement of services and easements affected by the works.
The work is being done by Pavasal Empresa Constructora, in a period of two months, and with an investment of 30,300 euros.
