María Blasco, director of the National Center for Oncological Research, has been the godmother of this promotion
The Temple of the Monastery of Los Jerónimos has welcomed this morning to more than 1,000 people in the act of graduation of the II Promotion of the Degree in Medicine of the Catholic University of Murcia.

On this occasion they arrive at this stage knowing that their colleagues from the First Promotion of the UCAM obtained an incontestable success by achieving a 96% pass, thus certifying the excellent academic preparation that has been given to them in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
María Blasco, director of the National Center for Oncological Research, was on this occasion the godmother of the new doctors of the UCAM.
In his speech he reminded them that "research is very important to fight against diseases", emphasizing that "from the universities, in the academic world we must train great scientists who will be the ones who achieve the following advances".
In addition, he said that Spain has great researchers as demonstrated by the CNIO that she directs "is in the first place in Europe and fourth in the world in terms of scientific discovery in oncology according to the journal Nature."
