The surroundings of the Auditorium and Fofó Park will host next Saturday and Sunday the largest urban dance championship held in the Region of Murcia and one of the most important events in Spain of this discipline.
More than a thousand young people from all over the country will meet in Murcia to participate in a competition that places them as the best dancers, along with the best professionals of urban dance and where young Murcian talent will have great prominence.
The forecasts indicate that the Fofó Park, whose access will be free, will register an influx of more than 5,000 people.
In addition to the celebration of the contest inside the auditorium, during the two days dance can be shared, dance classes will be taught and there will be exhibitions of academies of the municipality in the environment.
There will also be street clothing markets, a variety of activities to enjoy with friends and a food truck area.
There will be present the greatest experts of each discipline of urban dance, whacking, vogue, hip hop, Locking, poping, breaching, Dancehall ...
Among the attendees are Sheila Ortega, Dancehall teacher and dancer of the singer Bad Gyal;
Adrián Velasco, hip hop teacher, Dancehall and contestant of Fama a Bailar, Luis Cabeza, director of the hip hop groups that will go this year to the United States to represent Spain in the world urban dance championship;
and from Paris will arrive Bad Gyal Cassiee, world icon of Afro, one of the most influential disciplines of urban dance in recent years.
The championship will have all the categories of urban dance: absolute couples, junior couples, individual, absolute, junior, baby, children, youth, megacrew, premium, professional.
and battles.
Compralaendrada will collaborate with the prizes of the winners of each category of the contest.
Murcia Urban Dance moves will be placed among the best Urban Dance championships in Spain, hand in hand with those organized in Barcelona and Madrid.
Collaboration of the OMG
During the two days, in the morning, young local artists of the Municipal Office of Graffiti, promoted by the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services in collaboration with Ferrovial Services, will make a live graffiti exhibition where they will create two works on canvas of 2x 1.50 meters.
The theme will be related to the event being held and later these works will be exhibited in young spaces.
On the other hand, it will be a totally sustainable event in which plastics will not be used and all containers will be compostable and biodegradable.
In addition, the #NoSeasMarrano campaign of Ferrovial Services will raise awareness among attendees of the importance of reducing the consumption of plastics, of recycling and reusing waste, and will also be present in the awareness campaign 'I am not, and you?'
that currently can be seen in mupis and public transport, in addition to having a presence in the media and social networks.
