Talí Murcia Fest celebrates its fourth edition next Friday at the Fofó Auditorium (29/05/2019)

The Fofó Auditorium will host next Friday the fourth edition of the Talí Murcia Fest'19, a 4-hour solidary music festival with a musical variety focused on fusion and miscegenation with local and national groups.

Organized by the Fundación Secretariado Gitano and the Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation, its main objective is the collection of funds that allow the continuity of educational programs.

They make up this year's poster Muerdo, Jamones con Tacones and Carmen La Canija.

The price of the advance ticket is € 8 and € 10 at the box office.

The opening of doors will be at 9:00 p.m.

The points of sale of tickets are Discos Traffic, www.compralaentrada.com and Fundación Secretariado Gitano (FSG).

After the success of the previous editions, returns Talí Murcia Fest returns to offer music of miscegenation and fusion, especially fusion flamenco, funky, jazz and miscegenation.

It is a proposal for a public with a wide range of ages, very well established worldwide and with great impact.

The Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation last year allocated a total of 73,000 euros to finance the Project Jachivelar - Sunrise.

Intervention in the Gypsy Community in the Municipality of Murcia, promoted by the Fundación Secretariado Gitano

The City Council collaborates with the actions developed by this entity in education, employment and non-discrimination, aimed at the Roma community that is at risk or social exclusion.

As a result of this collaboration, in 2017, three programs were developed:

- Promoted, supported and educational guidance, in which 63 children of 46 families received help, enrolled in 16 educational centers.

- Access, oriented to access to employment and training, which served 459 people.

In addition, 223 participated in itineraries to improve employment, 17 training courses were given with 120 attendees and 106 contracts were formalized

- Calí, to promote equal opportunities and integration of Roma women, ended last year with the organization of training activities, within the Operational Program of Social Inclusion and the Social Economy (POISES), with 29 participants;

and awareness-raising activities "Road to equality", with 238 participants.

- Equality of treatment and non-discrimination: Days "The women's station": 79 participants, and celebration of the "International Day of the Gypsy People", in which 125 people participated.
