Our Lady of the Rosary will be more accessible and safe thanks to the works that will leave the road and the sidewalk at the same level (27/05/2019)

The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebecca Perez, visited this morning the works that are being executed in the street Our Lady of the Rosary of Rincon de Seca.

These works will improve the accessibility and transit of pedestrians since currently, from the San Joaquín square to Fernández Caballero street, the sidewalks are impractical.

Likewise, it will be possible to increase the safety of the drivers on the section up to Calvario Street, which currently has deficiencies in its pavement.

To do this, cobblestone will be placed on the stretch of San Francisco Street to San Joaquin Square and on the one-way stretch of Nuestra Señora del Rosario Street, leaving the road and pavement at the same level, making said street sections accessible.

The roadway will then be paved with agglomerate, the double-way road to Calvario street, and with the execution of pedestrian crossings at all junctions and the regularization of the existing signs, a safer pedestrian circulation will be achieved.

Likewise, the placement of a waterproofing sheet on the facades has been planned to prevent future rain infiltration.

In these works, 58,290 euros have been invested.
