The residents of La Ladera urbanization will have direct access to the shopping center area next to Juan de Borbón avenue, once the Governing Board approved the project submitted for its execution at its meeting yesterday.
The pedestrian bridge will be orthogonal in relation to the ravine of Churra and will have a total length of 36 m., With a width of 3.50 m.
The construction cost amounts to € 273,537.59, financed by the Ladera Housing Cooperative Society.
The project has been approved by the City Council, but prior to the start of the works must obtain authorization from the Segura Hydrographic Confederation.
This walkway replaces the one initially planned in the urbanization project, which foresees its location on the ravine of Churra next to the tracing of the tram.
At the proposal of its promoters, and after being considered also suitable by the municipal technical services, it will finally be located next to the shopping centers, allowing to create a continuous itinerary towards the tertiary services of the area.
