The University of Murcia and Rotary Club Molina de Segura have signed an agreement on Wednesday by which the organization will donate to UMU nine thousand euros for the development and implementation of a digital environment to improve the training of university students with disabilities.
This donation is also the result of the financial contribution of the Servitir company.
This digital environment will result in the development and implementation of an application that allows students with disabilities to acquire tools and skills to perform better in the labor market once they finish their studies.
The acquisition of these skills will be done through gamification and interactive environments.
José Luján, rector of UMU, and Francisco José Carvajal, president of Rotary Club Molina de Segura, have been responsible for signing this agreement in an act that took place in the convalescent building, the seat of the rectorship.
Both have stressed the importance of working together to contribute to the improvement of society.
