The incorporation of 157 Local Police officers is a reality (21/05/2019)

The Popular Party will carry out the largest increase in the staff of the Local Police in the history of the municipality

The Councilor for Modernization of Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, has urged Cambiemos to 'learn more about the agreements adopted by the City Council before making deeply flawed statements'.

In particular, Guillén has explained 'what Sergio Ramos should know' and is that in the current offer of public employment of the City there are provided 157 seats of Local Police agent.

"From the Popular Party we have acted in this way to increase the safety of Murcia with measures that are already underway," he added, while urging the Government Delegation to perform the same effort that has made the City with the Corps of Local Police to increase the presence of the Civil Guard and National Police in the neighborhoods and districts.

The lack of troops of the State Security Forces and Corps "is a social clamor and evidence," added Guillen, who calls for the socialist delegation, which until a few weeks ago Diego Conesa showed up, to "assume his responsibility".

Guillén recalls that the mayor of Murcia and Popular Party candidate has announced that one of his main proposals for the government is precisely 'to increase the corps and exceed 700 agents throughout the next term to strengthen security in districts and thus reaching the workforce with more effective since its creation. '

The incorporation of agents will come in the coming months, since 136 are part of the current Job Offer and these will be added another 200 agents over the next four years, surpassing the 700 police.

"The guarantee that Murcia will have the largest increase in the staff of local police in history is called José Ballesta," concluded Guillén.

"It is clear that Cambiemos opts to look the other way and put obstacles in the way of any initiative, instead of using the time to contribute ideas to improve the life of Murcia, which is what we were elected as councilors," added Guillen, who added which, 'obviously, is simpler and requires less effort to destroy than to build'.
