'The flight of the smile', the work of 'the company of Mario', has a length of 50 meters, and has allowed to convert a space so degraded into a work of art.

The initiative is part of the project #StreetArtPrimavera, promoted by the councils of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development and Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, through the Municipal Office of Graffiti.

A wall covered with dirt and painted next to the garden of Santa Rosa, in Santiago El Mayor, has been transformed into a canvas of urban art after the intervention carried out within the framework of the initiative #StreetArtPrimavera, promoted by the councils of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development and Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, through the Municipal Office of Graffiti.

'The flight of the smile', which this week has visited the councilors José Guillén and Rebeca Pérez, has been made by four artists of the Mario Company: Goyo 203, Willy Arenas, Jesus and Raúl Star, who have worked on it since Wednesday 8th until Monday 13th.

They are two walls of about 50 meters long and 12 meters high, which have stopped offering a deteriorated and full of painted images to become a canvas for new works of art.

For its realization it has been necessary to use an arm crane and a forklift simultaneously and use more than 300 liters of paint and about 100 sprays.

The motive of these murals is within the so-called 'magical realism', showing squares where the laughter of the children fly over the gray minds.

The work has been made on the occasion of #StreetArtPrimavera included in the actions developed jointly by the Department of Modernization of Urban Administration and Development and the Municipal Office of Graffiti, which promotes the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services and Ferrovial Services.

As a result of this project, other artistic murals have been created in the Avenida de Europa, in the Pasos de Santiago street and in the Santa Isabel garden.
