The Cabildo organizes the II cycle of concerts around the mysteries of salvation (16/05/2019)

The Chapter of the Cathedral organizes the second cycle of the organ "Christian Mysteries of Salvation" that will take place every Sunday from May 19 to June 16, at 11:00 am, in the Cathedral.

The concerts will be interspersed with biblical and liturgical texts.

This Sunday is dedicated to the Resurrection of the Lord, with the organ concert by Pedro Pablo López Hervás;

and on Sunday, May 26, it will be dedicated to Santa María, with the organ concert by Alfonso Guillamón de los Reyes, canon prefect of Sacred Music and principal organist of the Cathedral.

The other three concerts will take place on Sundays corresponding to these solemnities: the Ascension of the Lord, on June 2, with the concert of soprano, violoncello and organ, by Carmen Lorenzo Monerri, Luis Ferráz Sanz and Ramón Muñoz González, respectively;

on Pentecost, on June 9, with the Canticorum lubilo choir concert and the Alfonso Guillamón organ, under the direction of Carmen María Bastida;

and finally, on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, on June 16, the trumpet and organ concert, by Antonio José Rodríguez Pérez and Christopher Fleming, respectively.
