The University of Murcia has held on Tuesday the act of taking possession of three vice rectors of the rectoral team.
The ceremony took place in the Gallery of Rectors of the convalescent building, in the presence of the rector, José Luján, and representatives of the university community.
Paloma Sobrado, until now vice-chancellor of Assistance Affairs and Coordination, has assumed after this act the competences of the vice-rectorship of Students and Services to the University Community.
Pedro Miguel Ruiz, meanwhile, has taken office as Vice Chancellor of Strategy and Digital University;
while Longinos Marín, has assumed the position of Vice Chancellor of Social Responsibility and Transparency.
Both managed these same competences until now as Delegates for the rector.
Luján explained that the decision to integrate them into the team as vice-rectors responds to the interest of giving structural character and strengthening both areas.
The rector thanked all three for their work and their commitment to the University.
In addition, Luján has also had words of gratitude for Cristina Sánchez, until now Vice Chancellor of Students and whose decision to leave the rectoral team has motivated the readjustment that has taken place.
Luján has outlined her, as well as her management skills, her attitude and her commitment to the University of Murcia.
