The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, attended today in the cathedral of Murcia to the farewell eucharist of the Virgen de la Fuensanta, after which he proceeded to transfer in pilgrimage of the patron saint of Murcia to his sanctuary, after remaining in the cathedral during the period of Lent, Holy Week and the Spring Festival.
Lopez Miras said that "I live today in a very special way, not only as president of the Community but also as Caballero de la Fuensanta," and asked "La Morenica" for all those who are looking for an opportunity, and also for the water that this Region needs to have a future ".
This year, the Virgen de la Fuensanta returns to her sanctuary after a longer stay than usual in the cathedral of Murcia, where last Saturday she presided over the episcopal ordination of the new auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Monsignor Sebastián Chico.
