Theater, puppets, acrobatics, photography or music are the activities proposed by the Vistabella Neighborhood Association for its 2019 festivities, which will run from May 9 to 19.
The Vistabella Neighborhood Association, a collective with more than 40 years of life behind them but with a lot of life ahead thanks to the generational renewal that it has had in recent times, wants its patron festivities to be the most cultural in the city, and for it it has programmed, with the collaboration of the Meeting of Eastern District of the City council of Murcia, a series of activities for all the very interesting ages.
To begin and as a novelty this year, for Friday the 10th they are organizing an afternoon of street theater in which the companies Teatro Silfo and Ayeklauwn will show their latest creations.
The Silfo Theater puppet company, founded in 2002, is dedicated exclusively to the world of children discovering that it is possible to arouse the interest of children and adults.
In Vistabella they will premiere their work "The Adventures of Pinocchio" in the open air, in which they want to approach "the most intimate nature of the adventures of Pinocchio, returning the protagonism to the original text of Carlo Collodi".
Silfo Theater were awarded in the last European Fair of Performing Arts for Boys and Girls, FETEN 2019, with the prize for the best show for Early Childhood for their work "The Moon in the Garden", and will perform in the Plaza de los Patos de Vistabella on Friday 10 at 18.30.
For its part, Spanish-Chilean company Ayeklauwn, born in 2011, presents "Team Locomotion", a show of circus, clown, aerial acrobatics, acrobatics and juggling, with a spectacular staging that will surely leave everyone open-mouthed that they approach the main square of the neighborhood at 9:00 p.m.
The next day, on Saturday the 11th, the AVV Vistabella, in collaboration with the photography studio La Cámara Roja, is organizing the 8th edition of its Vistabella Fotomaratón, the photography contest in which there are no winners or losers, only love for the Photography and pleasure for spending time with family and friends taking pictures of the neighborhood.
The inscriptions will take place in the Sala La Pescadería of the Association from 10 in the morning.
Then, on Tuesday 14, there will be a new edition of the Workshop Evening, in which the monitors and monitors who take courses in the rooms of the AVV Vistabella make a small sample of what they carry out during the year.
Tango, dance or flamenco, together with the Asociación Murcia en Bici, which will hold its free bike workshop, will take the Plaza de los Patos from 6pm.
And finally, on Thursday 16, from 20:00 hours on José Cánovas Pujante street, one of the streets of low houses in the neighborhood, there will be a classical music concert by the Trio A Piacere, composed by Amber Kay ( soprano), Jesús Hernández (tenor) and Javier Alcaraz (piano), who will perform arias and songs from the baroque to the present day, "great successes" from Monteverdi and Mozart to Puccini.
