The Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Murcia takes stock of the period 2015-2019 highlighting the progress made in these four years, including the release of fourteen million euros for investments in districts and the burial of roads for the arrival of the AVE

"The Municipal Socialist Group ends this mandate with the satisfaction of a job well done, we have shown responsibility towards Murcia and its people, and we have managed to advance important issues for this municipality despite the immobilism of the PP house."

This has been expressed by the spokesperson of the PSOE in the City of Murcia, Susana Hernandez, who along with the rest of councilors who have been part of the group in this mandate, has taken stock of these last four years in the City of Murcia.

"We have achieved important actions, actions that were not difficult to carry out but that met with the political will of Ballesta and his team, so that during the summers we did not abandon the children with a lunch scholarship during the period. At school, we finally managed to get shadows in public schools after years of demands and motions to the Plenary, and we also promoted the significant increase in Social Services, still insufficient, but which increased considerably, "explained Hernández.

The socialist spokesman has listed some of the initiatives that the PSOE has managed to launch, "initiatives that the PP promised and left in a drawer and that the Socialist Group has managed to dust off."

"And so up to 14 million euros that we managed to unlock for the meetings, works that have not yet been carried out, despite being an agreement that we reached in the 2017 Budget, but which we hope will be implemented in the coming months since its processing is underway, "the socialist spokeswoman has informed.

Hernandez also recalled that the Socialist Group achieved the modification of the ordinance of fords, "from which many residents already benefit," as well as the descent of the water and "the revision once and for all of the General Plan of Urban Planning that the PP has later stopped at will. "

"We are very proud of our management in favor of the burial, for which we have approved in plenary session the addendum to the agreement that allows it to become a reality."
