The Networks Program fills up again on weekends with new activities for young people in the municipality (02/05/2019)

The new program of free activities for young people in the municipality during this second quarter will be developed over eight weekends

The programming is available at www.redesmurcia.es.

The City of Murcia, through the Youth Service of the City of Murcia, returns to bet on the program 'Networks for free time'.

The Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez, presented this morning the new programming of leisure activities for young people in the municipality during the weekends, starting May 2 and ending on June 29.

The new program of free activities for young people of the municipality during this second quarter will be developed over eight weekends.

Among the novelties there are three guided cultural routes that will address different themes, 'Art and curiosities of our squares and gardens', on May 18,' Curiosities of the Sierra del Valle ', on June 1 and' Stories, legends and curiosities of a city with a lot of history ', on June 15.

There will also be activities of 'Climbing on the climbing wall' on Saturdays 11, 18 and 25 May at the Magic Mountain Climbing Wall.

On May 18 there will be a Fifa Championship for PS4 and Smash Bross for Nintendo Switch in Young Space 585.

It will also be held on May 26, in the Sierra del Valle, a day of orientation through mobile devices, with the title 'Orientation with Oruxmaps and IGN maps'.

Another outstanding novelty is the realization of the nightclub football championship, in which the participating teams will compete in different rounds on Friday nights.

The teams will be integrated with a maximum of 12 players and the registration period ends on May 14.

The cooking workshops are also present in the new programming.

These workshops are 'Smoothies and smoothies recipes' on May 10, 17 and 24 and 'Summer recipes and cold dishes', on May 31, 7 and June 14.

Young people can also enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking through the Valley - Carrascoy, Castillo de la Asomada, Castillo del Portazgo and Rambla del Puerto on May 19.

The initiation to the climbing in El Valle will take place on June 2 and aquatic multi-adventure in La Manga on June 16.

Once again, the Networks Program is committed to inclusive leisure, leisure for and for all.

Therefore, during this quarter, two inclusive championships will be held;

one of basketball on June 1 and another of swimming on June 29.

In addition, Kpop workshops, modern dance, manga comics, personal defense, guitar, initiation to astronomy, make-up and theatrical characterization, magic, jugger, among others, will be held.

More than 40 free activities aimed at young people of the municipality during the weekend.
