The cut of the supply will never be executed nor legal actions will be taken to recover a debt for non-payment while the situation that gives right to access the social rate lasts
The Popular Party has supported the approval of the water ordinance that will lead, among other improvements that will benefit 157,000 families, the reduction of up to 5.42% in the bill, in addition to a 45% drop in the meter rate and elimination of the quota for water discharge from the water table, as explained by the Popular Councilor Antonio Navarro.
The social aspects contemplated in the ordinance have an enormous specific weight in the ordinance, which is reflected in three fundamental aspects:
Reduction of 25% of water rates and the rate of garbage for families at risk of exclusion.
Amortization of the old debt, of more than six months.
For the less than half a year the supply cut will never be executed nor will legal actions be taken while the situation that gives the right to access the social tariff lasts.
Single-parent families or with a disabled person among their members who have a large family title despite being less than five members will be able to benefit from the reduced rate of housing with more than four members.
