Emotional moments that have been lived this morning at the Catholic University of Murcia.
At 11 o'clock in the morning the Christ of the Students left the Temple of the Monastery of Los Jerónimos on the shoulders of the Zaragoza Infantry Regiment No. 5 of paratroopers, to parade in procession through the Campus of the UCAM.
This is the first time this act is celebrated in the University, in which the military band has also paraded.
Likewise, José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, regimental officers and members of the university community have accompanied.
During the procession, a prayer has been made by the members of the armed forces in international peace missions.
In the framework of the prayers for those fallen soldiers, the president of the UCAM, together with the colonel and the chaplain of the Regiment, have made a wreath to the Virgin Mary and have united under the prayer of the paratroopers.
