The University of Murcia receives on Wednesday, April 10, the visit of Ms. Zhang Yi (Vicky), from the international office of Antai College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which will last until this Friday.

The reason for the visit is the signing of the collaboration agreement between UMU and Shanghai Jiao Tong University to promote the mobility of students and teachers with Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM).

The signing of this agreement will take place on Thursday at the deanery of the Faculty of Economics and Business, at 9 o'clock, and will be attended by José Luján, rector of the UMU, Samuel Baixauli, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business ;

and Ms. Vicky Zhang.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University is among the best universities in the world in the different rankings, above any Spanish university.

Similarly, ACEM ranks first in business schools in the Asia and Pacific region according to the latest ranks of the Financial Times.

This agreement will be put into operation in September through the mobility of two students from the Faculty of Economics and Business who will finish their undergraduate studies at Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM), taking the full course 2019-2020.

The selected students will receive a scholarship from the Chair of Business Excellence Grupo Fuertes.

This visit supposes the consolidation of the collaboration between both institutions, which had a first contact in October and November of 2018 with the visit of the rector of the UMU and part of his rectoral team to diverse universities of China, that fructified in a work meeting in Madrid in November 2018 between representatives of ACEM and the Faculty of Economics and Business.

During these days, Ms. Vicky Zhang will meet the faculty facilities, activities and the internship program developed within the framework of the Chair of Business Excellence Grupo Fuertes and will visit the facilities of Grupo Fuertes in Alhama.
