A history here.

Political chronicle (2014-2019) narrates the political life of the Region of Murcia since December 2013 when Ramón Luis Valcárcel announced that he was leaving and activating his succession, setting in motion the "Pedro Antonio Sánchez Plan".

A political legislature punctuated by many judicial matters.

They have been more than five years in which the Popular Party and its government in the Autonomous Community have starred or been witnesses of events relevant to our contemporary history.

Now ends an intense legislature that severed the political life of President Pedro Antonio Sánchez and that is told in this book from the perspective of Manuel Ponce.

In parallel to what happened in our Region in the last five years, we have experienced situations of tremendous interest in our country and in which it has been difficult not to stop.

President Mariano Rajoy had to leave the government after a motion of censure for the first time in our history.

And with him, probably, a whole generation left.

It ended an entire cycle in the Popular Party, reaching the time of Pablo Casado and Teodoro García.

Those were the years in which the PSOE experienced its particular catharsis with the abrupt expulsion of Pedro Sánchez from the general secretariat and the socialist leadership and his subsequent resurrection from the darkness to reach La Moncloa.

A PSOE that lost the hegemony in Andalusia after the collapse of Susana Díaz and the emergence of Vox.

A legislature laden with historical milestones such as the abdication of King Juan Carlos I in favor of his son Felipe VI.

And, above all, a stage marked by the blow to democracy given in Catalonia by the separatists who wanted to end the constitutional order.

Manuel Ponce has been practicing journalism since 1988. He started in the newspaper La Opinión, to continue later in La Verdad, Diario 16 de Murcia and Cinco Días.

Between 2000 and 2009 he was director of El Faro.

In radio he directed and presented ten years the "Tinta China" program, in Onda Regional.

He has also worked for the Public Entity Radiotelevisión Región de Murcia (RTRM) and La Televisión Autonómica La 7, as well as Murciadiario of the Zambudio Group.

He is the author of several books, including The Burning of the Assembly, Isidoro Máiquez, the accursed actor, Learning Theater and The Black Rose.

Manuel Ponce is also a member of the Academy of Television, of the Association of Journalists of the Region of Murcia and the Spanish Association of Directors of Scene.

With the publication of Una historia de aquí.

Political Chronicle (2014-2019), The Ugly Bourgeoisie, an editorial born to highlight the cultural and social hustle and bustle of our Region and give voice to new and also to consolidated authors, places a magnificent lecture on the hands of readers tool to understand the future of our Region.
