A video explains in three minutes how Murcia Renace (07/04/2019)

Eighteen hours were necessary to make the photograph of the poster of the Spring Festival, which shows at the same time the two most representative elements of Murcia: the quality of life, represented in the spring, and the talent of the people of Murcia.

The social networks of the mayor have published today a video in which he shows how the poster for the Spring Festival was made.

To produce the photograph of the Spring Festival poster, 'Murcia reborn', it took a team of 15 people, who worked for 18 hours, and a lot of talent, especially from Murcia.

It is a poster that commemorates the 120th anniversary of this celebration and at the same time shows the two most representative elements of Murcia: the quality of life represented in the spring and the talent of the people.

A video of just 3 minutes, published on the social networks of the mayor, explains step by step how the photograph was made in which the Murcian actress Marta Nieto, incarnates the goddess Flora, protagonist of the campaign.

Along with her, the architects of the work have been Jorge Martínez, creative of the campaign;

Pedro Lobo, designer of the dress;

Rosana Galián, designer of the earrings;

the Neuman group, responsible for the soundtrack;

and the communication agency Germinal & Brandon Love.

It took a day of work to set up the scenery and carry out the lighting tests and another day to take the photos with the actress and the child, who was then 12 days old.

On the other hand, copious vegetation acquires a very important role in the image.

To achieve the desired effect, the following plants supplied by the City Parks and Gardens service were used:

1 x Large potted Palmacea 1 x Large potted Cica

4 x Large Vanda Orchid

2 x Enriched citrus fruits

1 x Citrus Medica enmacetado

1 x Mexican Sabal enmacetada

1 x Pomegranate or other fruit tree entangled

2 x Large Adam's Rib enmacetado

2 x Enriched large Ficus Lyrata

1 x Magnificent Medinilla (or similar)

6 x Tomatoes and other vegetable plants with fruit in pot Assortment of many different flowers

In addition to the poster, three still lifes have been produced, representing the Bando de la Huerta, the Burial of the Sardine and the Spring Gardens.
