The International Relations Office of the UCAM has organized the V International Erasmus Staff Week, a week in which the institution receives teachers from 21 European universities in countries such as Italy, France, Estonia, Slovakia, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Turkey, Ireland, the Netherlands, Latvia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
The act that is part of the Erasmus + program aims to make the University known among the European partner institutions, strengthen ties with them and expand the already existing collaborations, as well as establish agreements and collaborations with other universities.
Lonneke Meijer, coordinator of exchange programs, explains that during this week the University will give lectures, activities and a playful program for teachers to know the cities of Murcia and Cartagena.
"In this way the partner universities know the UCAM and can also promote their universities," concludes Lonneke.
With this visit the Catholic University aims to create links to sign agreements within the framework of the Erasmus program, to exchange students and universities that already have agreements with the UCAM can visit the institution and the Region of Murcia.
The University has seen this year the number of students who decide to complete their academic curriculum with a stay abroad.
