This edition will host the premiere of 'The legacy of the King Lobo', the group of theater of Moors and Christians of Murcia, which recreates the arrival of the army of Ibn Mardanish, better known as 'The Wolf King', to Medina Mursiya in the year 1162

The text of the representation has been designed and written by Jorge Fernández, a native of Monteagudo and passionate about its history.

Rigorously documented, it has been supervised by the historian Carmen Baeza and the theatrical adaptation has been carried out by the experienced playwright Joaquín Lisón.

With the entrance (five euros adults and three children) you can enjoy a double show.

First, the theatrical performance, about 30 minutes long and then the medieval tournament 'The Games of the Wolf King' with games, jousting, duels ...

This medieval tournament will be performed for the first time in Murcia by the company of specialists Deus Bellum and it is remembered when the Murcian emir commemorated, on his arrival in Murcia, the conquest of Granada with a medieval tournament in which the nobles and Muslim knights and bravest Christians demonstrated their skill in handling weapons such as swords, bows, spears and jousts.

The performance, 45 minutes long, will be held at the foot of the recreation palace of the Rey Lobo, now known as 'El Castillejo'.

This shows will be held in two passes: On Saturday, the 6th, at 7:00 p.m., which includes the representation of the 'Legado del Rey Lobo' and the subsequent celebration of the medieval tournament, and on Sunday, the 7th, at 6:00 p.m. You can also enjoy the closing pyromusical show.

This event recreates one of the most influential sites of all the Spanish Levante for centuries, the surroundings of Monteagudo and Cabezo de Torres, place of residence of Alfonso X the Wise and Ibn Mardanís, King Lobo, which will be recovered thanks to the project ' The Strengths of the Wolf King.
