In the new edition of 'Miradas'centrada in documentary photography, Álex Lafuente will portray El Carmen, capturing the essence of the historic neighborhood, focusing on the train station and the life that takes place around it.
The exhibition will take place in El Alboroque 2.0 and access will be free with invitation until the capacity is complete.

Lafuente (1992) is a young photographer from Murcia, with a degree in Plastic Arts and Design, specializing in photography.
He has exhibited at the IX Day of Photography of the Ateneo Obrero de Gijón, and has participated in group exhibitions such as Creamurcia 2016, FFIEL 2016, or #Hashtag.
Last year she was part of the prestigious International Biennial of Emerging Contemporary Art Eve-Maria Zimmerman (BACOS 2018), which is celebrated in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Lafuente's photographs are influenced by his work as a graphic designer.
His compositions play with architecture and colors, and portray characters that value the context.
On April 10, the works of Alex Lafuente will show the streets and the centennial corners of El Carmen, stopping in an image the constant swaying of a neighborhood with an identity marked by the hustle and bustle of the Station.
The cycle is a close encounter that links Murcia photographers with the future of life in the city.
The proposal invites to stop the look and to observe in detail what the immediacy of day to day prevents to appreciate, puts the focus on the daily to know it in depth and connects people with their environment.
The photographs, like the creations of the master brewers, are the result of knowledge and passion, are unique conceptions of the reality that surrounds us and that sometimes goes unnoticed before our eyes.
Miradas will close the cycle in a final exhibition that will collect the images of the three previous editions in a singular space of the city.
An event that will gather the photographers of Murcia and all their followers.
