Parks and Gardens performs the review and cleaning of the lake of the Silk Garden to optimize its status (31/03/2019)

The cleaning is being carried out by zones to preserve the existing fauna.

To do this, it has a team of about ten people dedicated to water recirculate in these lakes and maintain a level of quality.

The users of the La Seda garden will enjoy a totally sanitized lake during the next months thanks to the project of improvement of Parks and Gardens that will make the lagoon stay in much better state for longer and with much less effort of maintenance.

The Park and Gardens Service, which belongs to the Department of Modernization of Urban Administration and Development directed by José Guillén, is performing tasks of review, maintenance, repair and cleaning lake located in La Seda.

The lake has two spaces, for which one is always kept with water, so that the ducks do not have to move and can perform these periodic tasks.

These works will be extended during the next days and on Monday the second part of the cleaning will be carried out, ending on Friday, April 5.

It involves the aeration of water, the review of chlorine levels, surface and depth cleaning and the painting of the elements that adorn these spaces.

To do this, it has a team of about ten people dedicated to water recirculate in these lakes and maintain a level of quality for both fish, turtles, ducks, as well as for their neighbors and visitors they contemplate these spaces on a daily basis in the municipality of Murcia.
