The modification of the agreement with the Real Murcia will ensure the optimal maintenance of the municipal stadium Nueva Condomina (28/03/2019)

The Committee on Plenary of Infrastructure, Finance and General Affairs held this morning has studied the modification of the agreement between the City Council and Real Murcia CF for the cession of use of the Municipal Stadium of Nueva Condomina Soccer.

Thus, the City Council has developed an addendum to the conditions of use of the Municipal Stadium Nueva Condomina, approved in 2009, whose objectives are, on the one hand, to ensure the optimal maintenance of the municipal facility and, on the other, to reduce the costs it supports the club as a user of the stadium and increase the chances that said facility will bring them economic benefits through certain commercial and advertising operations.

In this way, among the obligations of Real Murcia CF it is established to keep the property and all its facilities in a good state of use and conservation, carrying out at their charge as many works as are necessary for the conservation, repair and replacement of all elements for their normal use, including the turf of the playing field and comply with current legislation on public entertainment, violence prevention in football and other mandatory regulations in relation to sporting events that will take place in La Condomina

In addition, they will have to request prior express authorization from the City Council to carry out works that exceed mere conservation, which may affect the internal distribution, structural elements or that involve any modification.

For its part, the City of Murcia will assume the technical maintenance of the facilities of transformation center, low voltage electrical installation, generator sets, sanitary hot water installations, cold water for human consumption and irrigation, fire protection facilities, elevators and thermal installations.

The transfer of use involves the right of advertising exploitation inside and outside the site, including static, television, radio or any other, being prohibited the transfer, by means of any title or lease to third parties of the rights recognized in the present agreement, except those of advertising exploitation previously recognized, or the lease of those elements or dependencies that are susceptible of commercial exploitation linked to the sports activity, such as own restoration activities or official stores of Real Murcia products.

The office space, with an area of ​​1,328.90 m2, can be used for club museum, gymnasium or sports clinic purposes.

The Real Murcia CF may commercially exploit the facility for non-sporting uses of football, such as competitions of other sports, musical shows, political rallies, assemblies of civil, religious or any other organization, while proving the hiring of liability insurance corresponding civil and damages to third parties for each event.

Another clause includes that a Technical Commission formed by the heads of the City Council and the club will determine the conditions under which the use of the stadium should be carried out for events, shows or events other than strictly sporting football.

In the event that the event generates income of an economic nature, these will be destined to the payment of the expenses for the regular maintenance of the stadium by Real Murcia CF and other expenses of the club duly accredited.

The club may also modify the name of the Nueva Condomina Football Stadium by a commercial name provided it bears the name of Murcia or Nueva Condomina as an addition.

You can not advertise brands and / or companies that attempt against human dignity, or that give to understand or cause xenophobic, sexist or intolerant activities.

The Plenary next Tuesday will have to approve these modifications of the agreement.
