The Summer Science Campuses return to the University of Murcia! (27/03/2019)

This year the University of Murcia (UMU) returns to be the regional headquarters of the Summer Scientific Campus in its tenth edition.

A total of 120 students of the 1560 that will participate in this project at the national level, may have a first contact with the world of research that is carried out at the UMU, with the aim of promoting their scientific and technological vocations and help focus their Professional careers.

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training call this unique opportunity for students 4th of ESO or 1st of Bachillerato.

The deadline for submitting applications begins on March 19, 2019 and ends at 1:00 pm (Peninsular time) on April 1, 2019.

If you are passionate about exploring, discovering and researching, join this particular 'camp'.

You can work as a researcher in a university environment and in the company of other students who also have a passion for science.

In addition, you will enjoy a complete program of scientific-cultural and leisure activities.

As a novelty, in this new edition 20 students of 4th ESO will be able to stay in the High-School Students Internship Program of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland.

In summary this project covers:

1,560 seats

Students of 4th of ESO and 1st of Bachillerato

52 projects of scientific approach

13 Campus of Excellence

4 participation shifts between June 30 and July 27, 2019

20 additional places for a stay at CERN from September 29 to October 12, 2019 (4th year ESO students who have reached the age of 16 years prior to the start date of the Program's development)
