Let's change Murcia presents the "youngest, most rebellious and most experienced candidate" to the municipal elections of the 26M (27/03/2019)

Murcia change has presented today at a press conference the candidacy with which to attend the municipal elections on May 26, a list that stands as "the youngest, rebel and most experienced" of the left municipal groups, and that has resulted from a process of primaries in which 791 people have participated.

The presentation was attended by the councilman and mayoral candidate of Murcia, Sergio Ramos;

the also aedile and number 2, Margarita Guerrero;

the number 3 and vocal of Cambiemos in Los Dolores, Mercedes Nicolas, and other members of the candidature such as Ana Serrano (vocal in El Palmar), Manel Aparicio (coordinator of the sectorial group of Animal Rights) and Germán Hernández.

Ramos has explained that Cambiemos Murcia is "a strong space" that has demonstrated "being able to implement processes of radical democracy" to put politics at the service of citizens.

"We repeat in two councilmen - the own Ramos and the number 2, Margarita Guerrero - while the rest of the candidacy is made up of vowels who have been working in the last four years in the change meetings and who have shown to know how to manage better than the Popular Party, "said the head of the list.

He has been convinced that Cambiemos Murcia "is ready" to govern in the Consistory "from minute zero", focusing its objective on "expelling the PP and the right policies" that party "has launched with Citizens and also , sadly, with the PSOE ".

Ramos recalled in this regard that "two of the four budgets approved by the team of José Ballesta-mayor of Murcia-have been backed with the votes of the Socialist Group."

On the part, for the councilman, "it is clear that the PSOE, when it does not depend on left-wing parties, in this case of Change Murcia, tends to make very warm policies and even right-wing policies."

The mayor has indicated that "expelling the PP" is "a social emergency" since this, with its policies, "has made Murcia a smaller city, with a historic center to which much of the investment goes while the districts and the neighborhoods are totally abandoned. "

"Murcia needs a new model of city agreed and agreed by all social agents that is more inclusive and integrates all neighborhoods and districts" because the municipality "is not only the center," said Ramos, after insisting that the Let's change Murcia is "a candidacy of the district that comes to take La Glorieta".

On the other hand, Margarita Guerrero has stressed that it is also a feminist candidacy, both for its composition and for the political proposals it proposes to implement to bring about a "change of government" starting next June to face the "continuist policies" of Ballesta.

The Government team, in the words of Guerrero, "has filled Murcia with advertising, propaganda and LED lights", and has been "unable" to face problems such as air pollution or citizen mobility.

Likewise, the commitment of Cambiemos Murcia is to promote policies that place "people and care" in the center, defend "at all costs" public services and promote "an integrating Murcia and solidarity, a Murcia that defends the human rights of Absolutely all people regardless of their origin, sexual condition or race. "

Mercedes Nicolás has called attention to the fact that most of the members of the list work in neighborhood assemblies and social groups, or directly in the municipal boards, where they have been able to contribute to improving transparency and citizen participation.

"We are people who are not going to dedicate ourselves to politics, but to work because the people put in our hands the management of the municipality, and this begins in the districts and neighborhoods, without members we will not have councilors. that living in a hamlet or in the center is exactly the same, that access to public services is the same, with the same guarantees, and that it does not matter to live in Lobosillo or live in Gran Vía, "he concluded.
