The project 17 ODSesiones of the University of Murcia takes this Thursday to the School of Psychology various activities focused on the goal 3 'Health and wellness'.
The program scheduled in the morning is as follows:
10.00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
NGO solidarity fair
The lecture hall of the faculty will host informative exhibitors of Ambulance of the Desire, Columbares, Red Cross, D'Genes, FAMDIF, FADE, FASEN, Federation of Mental Health of the Region of Murcia and UMU in Bici.
10.30 to 12.00 h.
Presentation of NGO projects
Representatives of Ambulance of the Desire, Columbares, Red Cross, FAMDIF, FADE, FASEN and the Federation of Mental Health of the Region of Murcia will present their projects in the lecture hall of the faculty.
12.00 to 14.00 h.
Workshop on emotional well-being
Ana Isabel Rosa Alcázar, professor of Clinical Psychology at the UMU, will give this workshop in the auditorium of the faculty to address the relationship between emotions and health and emotional intelligence issues.
In addition, in the afternoon, the University Social Center will host a workshop on emergency action in which participants will be shown how to act in situations such as an accident, a kidnapping, a terrorist attack, etc.
The objective is to analyze the decision making and the type of intervention in these situations to give emotional support, intervene in grief situations, etc.
It will take place in multipurpose room 2, at 5:00 p.m.
17 ODSesiones is the project of the University of Murcia aimed at disseminating and raising awareness about the 17 sustainable development goals that the United Nations set with the year 2030 as a horizon.
Until April 2021 the University will dedicate one month to each of these objectives to sensitize the university community and the whole society about these purposes.
