Aspanpal organizes the first accessible dance competition in the Region (27/03/2019)

On the occasion of the International Day of the Hearing, the Association of Parents of Children with Hearing and Language Problems (Aspanpal) will hold next May 4 in the Espacio Nebrija Escénico the first accessible dance contest of the Region of Murcia.

Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz has attended the presentation of this initiative, which is called 'Let's Listen to the Dance' and which will feature a sign language interpreter and magnetic loop for those who use hearing aids.

The contest, in which more than a hundred dancers have already registered, includes different modalities such as Spanish Dance and Flamenco (Alegrías, Bulerías, Tangos, Bamberas, Taranto, Bolera School, Spanish Classic ...), Classical / Contemporary Dance , and Urban Dances (New-Style, Social Dance, DanceHall, Fusion of styles ...)

Tickets to attend a category cost six euros and two 10 attend and can be purchased at the ASPANPAL association (C / Navegante Juan Fernández, 3- 30007 Murcia), at the box office the same day of the event or book by sending an email to certamenescuchamosladanza @ gmail.com

All proceeds will be allocated to the association.

The jury's evaluations will be based on the technique (correct execution of the movements and precision with which these are performed), the musicality (correct precision of the dance with the music and its corporal interpretation through it), staging (originality) and creativity of the entrance and exit of the dancers to the frame of scene) and choreography (art of creating structures in which movements happen, originality and creativity will be valued, cleaning and execution of movements and transitions).

The Association of Parents of Children with Hearing and Language Problems (ASPANPAL) is a non-profit organization that works for the true integration of deaf children and youth, whatever their type and degree of hearing loss, the system of communication chosen by their parents and the family and social situations that surround each one.
