The groups PSOE, Now Murcia, Murcia Change and the councilor not assigned Javier Trigueros have denounced on Monday "the immobilism of Ballesta and the PP" in relation to their abandonment of responsibilities that may delay in time the arrival of the underground AVE to the municipality of Murcia.

According to the opposition, despite knowing for months that the allocation of the stretch of underground works to Nonduermas would happen from one moment to another, the PP in La Glorieta has not taken the necessary steps to have available the budget amount that corresponds to the City Council in 2019. "If the award is delayed will be the responsibility of the City of Murcia and the Autonomous Region, both governed by the PP, which shows, once again, that has never been in favor of burial and that his intention is still the arrival of the AVE on the surface ".

Another proof of this lack of interest in the burial would be the request by ADIF in the month of February that the City of Murcia required Emuasa to expedite the necessary refurbishment work to continue with the project.

"Anyone would say that the government of Ballesta is not interested in the least to end the wound that divides into two Murcia, because, apparently, has not moved a finger to accelerate the process."

PSOE, Now Murcia, Change Murcia and councilman Javier Trigueros have recalled that next Wednesday 27th meets the Murcia High Speed ​​Society, "meeting to which we should have been able to go with the approval of all administrative issues necessary for the award of the works until Nonduermas the next day ".

"Why did Ballesta not advance to this moment if he knew he would arrive? Is the PP boycotting the arrival of the burial?"

The opposition groups have demanded that Ballesta fulfill its responsibility, expedite all the procedures to be able to count on the municipal investment for the burial and stop putting itself of profile while it hinders the continuity of the works ".
