The Governing Board has given its approval to two actions to improve paving in Lobosillo and Alquerías, as well as to the remodeling project of Antonete Gálvez square in Torreagüera, all of them included in the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías coordinated by the Department of Pedanías, Participation and Decentralization, directed by Marco Antonio Fernández.
In this way, Lobosillo will proceed to the creation of pedestrian roads compatible with vehicular traffic in the street Manuel González Marco Municipal Police and adjacent or nearby in order to promote sustainable mobility in the district.
The maximum bid price is 178,504 euros and the execution period of two months.
On the other hand, the paving project of roadway and containment systems in Camino del Reguerón de Alquerías has been given the green light.
To do this, a layer of asphalt agglomerate will be spread from the intersection of the service road with the Carcanox Road to the intersection with the Vereda de la Basca.
With regard to the lateral containment system to prevent the fall of vehicles to the channel, a metal safety barrier will be installed.
The project has a budget of 125,224 euros and the deadline of two months.
New square in Torreagüera
Likewise, the remodeling project of the Antonete Gálvez square in Torreagüera has been approved, which will be completely refurbished by means of the renovation of both the pavement and the landscaping and the urban furniture, turning it into a diaphanous square, wide and with a pleasant aesthetic. where the neighbors will be able to enjoy events, such as their patron saint festivities.
The square will be divided in two heights separated by an ornamental source of reinforced concrete and a stainless steel railing.
Both surfaces will be accessible to people with reduced mobility through a ramp.
In this way, gardening with concrete and tropical wood structures will be combined and around the large-scale trees a reinforced concrete wall illuminated with low consumption lights will be built.
For the paving of the square, aged cobblestone of different colors will be used, maintaining the current access by the ramp.
The space will be completely pedestrian, leaving an area reserved for parking vehicles that will be paved with concrete.
The materials for the execution of all the urban furniture will be exposed concrete, tropical wood and stainless steel and the same design will be used for the planters.
Likewise, the existing trees will be respected, giving the plaza shade and freshness.
In the new planters will be planted Prunus Pissardii (plum of purple leaves) and in the upper area of ​​the square will be planted Gazania Hybrida upholstery to give color to the square.
On the access ramp, a plantation of Phytosporum Tobira (orange blossom from China) will be made to give it the desired shape.
In these works, which will be executed within a period of four months and which also form part of the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, 250,624 euros will be invested.
