The lobby of the Faculty of Biology will become a true market for ecological products on Thursday, thanks to the 17 ODSesiones project of the University of Murcia.
The Organic Products Fair will include the exhibition, tasting and sale of organic products;
both fresh and processed, and cosmetics.
All the above comes from Murcia and fair trade farmers and companies.
In addition, there will also be a healthy breakfast with products from the region and organic cosmetics workshop.
All these activities will take place between 11.00 and 14.00 hours at the entrance of the Faculty.
The intense day of ODSesiones will include a visit to the Safe Food Bank (BASMUR).
Those who register in this activity will be able to know firsthand the work they do in the Bank and how the food they receive is classified.
This activity will take place from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon and those who have previously registered will have priority to participate.
The entire university community is also invited to participate from 12.30 in the visit to the ecological garden of the University of Murcia.
The participants in this activity can know the work that is developed for the recovery of species.
The Aulario of the Faculty of Biology will host the other central activity of the day: a workshop on food waste that Manos Unidas will impart.
During this session, which will take place in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Biology from 12.30 to 14.00 hours, you can also see the video 'The scandal of food waste'.
Later a round table will take place in which values ​​and actions with waste will be discussed.
