The "Last Carnival of Spain" will count this year with more than 40 comparsas (20/03/2019)

The 'last Carnival of Spain' will be held in the hamlet of Rincon de Seca from 22 to 24 March.

Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesus Pacheco, explained that "is called 'last Carnival', because it is celebrated 18 days after Ash Wednesday and 18 before the Friday of Dolores, being therefore the last celebration of the carnival of Spain.This way it becomes one of the best known events at a regional level, where comparsas from Mula, Cartagena, Beniaján, Totana, Mazarrón ... "

Last year, the celebration had more than 5,000 attendees and in this edition, the carnival aims to go further, so it will have the participation of more than 40 comparsas on stage, in addition to the visit of two groups from Tenerife: murga 'Las diabólicas' and the musical group 'Salsabor'.

These groups invited by the association will be responsible for opening the grand parade on Sunday March 24, while the person in charge of closing it will be the Murcian singer Salva Ortega who will shoot his new video clip at the end of the parade on Hernández Muñoz street while the jury deliberates .

It will be the largest and most colorful parade that has lived the district, with more than 2,000 foreigners in parade in a hamlet that has 2,138 inhabitants.

This will install more than a thousand free chairs in the parade, two bridges of robotic lighting on the main street, and rains of confetti to the champions of other years.

5:30 p.m. - Dance of Rincón de Seca Dance

6:30 p.m. - Carnival Party in the Cantina of the Senior Center

Saturday, March 23

5:00 p.m. - VI Comedy and Show Competition

9:00 pm - Great parade of flags and clubs with the participation of Tenerife Groups

10:00 pm - Speech of the Carnavalera 2018

22:15 hours - Performance of the musical group of Tenerife 'Salsabor'

23:00 - Party of the comparsas

Sunday, March 24

12:00 hours - Tenerife by the bars

17:15 - Great Carnival parade, with the participation of the Murga de las Diabólicas de Tenerife and the musical group of 'Salsabor'

8:30 p.m. - Award ceremony and end of party
