Murcia submitted more than 2,500 complaints at the Municipal Consumer Information Office during 2018 (16/03/2019)

The Municipal Office of Consumer Information handled 2018 2,574 complaints and 8,500 personal consultations.

Most of them (651) were related to mobile telephony due to problems with portability, misleading offers by telephone, penalties for early terminations, with the company having breached the contract, among other issues.

It is followed by fixed telephony (239) for pack offers, inclusion in the bill for calls to unused lines, internet that reaches less speed than the one offered, breach of contract ...

The third place is occupied by claims related to banking entities (177) for loans, personal and mortgage, commissions, floor clauses

Also highlight those of department stores, with 138, for differences between the advertised price and the one marked on the box, refusal of the merchants to return if the item is unpacked, refusal to return the money being publicized otherwise ...

In addition, during this year the claims by Idental and internet sales stand out.

Regarding the Idental theme, during the summer of 2018 more than 300 complaints were raised.

Information was provided on all the steps that those affected should take.

The demands raised on this company occupied the work of attention to the public for more than two months, giving preference to those affected to attend them before any other problem.

During the first months of 2019, 595 claims and 1,900 personal consultations were registered.
