The First Francophone Conference brings together more than 300 French students and teachers from all over the Region (15/03/2019)

More than 300 students and professors of French will participate next Wednesday, March 20, at the I Francophonie Symposium to be held at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Murcia.

The day will begin at 10 am in the Auditorium of the Campus de la Merced, and will include the participation of the Honorary Consul of France in Murcia, the President of the Association of Teachers of French of the Region of Murcia, as well as of the Coordinators of Quality and the Degree in French Studies of the UMU.

The workshops include various workshops and will be closed with a concert by Marta Saorín.

The activity is organized by the French Philology Department, Department of French, Romance, Italian and Arabic Philology of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Murcia, Vice-Rector for Quality, Culture and Communication of the UMU and the APFRM.

French cinema about migrants

Between 20 and 22 March will be held in the Culture Hall of the Cajamurcia Foundation (Gran vía), a thematic days of Francophone cinema on migration: "Migrants: a la recherche du paradis", which will feature the projection of various movies on the subject.

They will be presented by students and professors of the UMU and will have a later debate.

The thematic days will open on Wednesday, March 20 at 7 pm, in an act that will be borne by the Rector of the University of Murcia and the vice-chancellors of Academic and Student Affairs, as well as the President of the Association of Teachers of French of the Region of Murcia.
