The University of Murcia and the City Council bring Naukas to Murcia (15/03/2019)

The Naukas events are known to have taken scientific dissemination to another level.

With a format of talks of between 10 and 20 minutes, they manage to attract hundreds of people wherever they are held.

On stage: physicists, chemists, mathematicians, secondary school teachers, journalists ... Scientific disseminators who have managed to demonstrate that science does not have to be boring and that, if they tell you in a simple way, it can even be exciting.

The Romea Theater, in the heart of the city, is the place chosen so that on May 11, Murcia will become the epicenter of scientific dissemination.

Naukas Murcia will have 12 presentations of 20 minutes, two shows and the interview with a renowned scientist.

Little by little, more details will be revealed and in the coming weeks the final program will be made public.

After being held in cities such as Bilbao, A Coruña, Valladolid, Burgos, Pamplona, ​​San Sebastian, Vitoria or Cordoba, Naukas arrives for the first time to the East.

It does so thanks to the sponsorship of the University of Murcia and the City of Murcia.

This event is organized by the Association of Scientific Dissemination of the Region of Murcia, the Unit of Scientific Culture of the University of Murcia and the Museum of Science and Water of Murcia, in collaboration with the companies Serycoin and Nabla.

The event will take place on Saturday May 11 from 10am to 1.30pm and from 4pm to 7.30pm.

Admission will be free and free, until full capacity is reached.

Those who wish to attend can pick it up the same day of the congress in the Plaza del Romea: for the morning session starting at 9 o'clock and for the afternoon session starting at 3 o'clock.

Naukases the project of Miguel Artime, Antonio MartínezyJavier Peláez, who joined forces to carry out the largest online platform for scientific dissemination in Spanish.
