The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the operation INSIDE, has developed an investigation aimed at locating and arresting the author of numerous robberies in vehicles, committed in community garages in the districts of Beniaján and San José de la Vega. , which has resulted in the arrest of an experienced criminal who is allegedly responsible for about fifty crimes of robbery.

The investigation began on the first of the month, when the Civil Guard received numerous complaints of robberies committed in vehicles that at the time of the events were parked in community garages of buildings located in the districts of Beniaján and San José de la Vega. facts that had generated social alarm among the residents of the area.

In view of the high number of cases and the recidivism of the offenders, the agents established numerous police devices aimed at preventing the commission of new robberies and locating the author of these.

Simultaneously, the corresponding eye inspections were carried out on the affected vehicles, which allowed identifying a common modus operandi, as well as determining that behind the robberies could be found a single person.

La Benemérita obtained images from different video-surveillance cameras where the presence of an individual was seen, who, after entering the garages, forced the vehicles to seize the valuables that the owners, in the confidence of being protected in garages restricted access, left inside.

The information gathered focused the investigation on a single suspect, a well-known delinquent, neighbor of Beniaján, who traveled on foot and who took advantage of any opportunity to access the garages without being seen.

The Civil Guard has established numerous surveillance devices around its home and the places of leisure that it frequents that have been positive with its location and detention in the town of Beniaján.

In his possession have been seized several objects stolen from the interior of the cars.

The agents have gone to his home, where he stored another series of objects that, after their comparison, have been intervened and transferred to police stations.

Some of these belongings remain deposited in the Civil Guard Post of TorreagĂźera waiting to be identified and returned to their legitimate owners.

These are computer equipment, watches, mobile phones and chargers, speakers and other technological products.

Violent and systematic

The Civil Guard has found that the arrested, with extensive criminal experience, not only used physical force to achieve its purpose, but also came to use a prop of work to violently fracture the windows of the windows.

In just two days, he assaulted two neighborhood communities at dawn and stole about twenty vehicles.

In some of the cases investigated, in addition to the damage caused to perpetrate the theft, it also caused others, intentionally and voluntarily, as scratches on the bodywork, which caused serious economic damage to the owners.

In addition, the arrested was arrested at the end of last year as alleged perpetrator of another fifty robberies in vehicles committed in the Murcia districts of TorreagĂźera, San José de la Vega and Beniaján.

The INSIDE operation has culminated in the arrest of an experienced male offender, aged 24, of Moroccan nationality and neighbor of Beniaján as alleged perpetrator of about fifty robberies with force in vehicles and the crime of intentional damage.

The arrested, the recovered effects and the diligences instructed have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 3 of Murcia who has ordered his entry into prison.
