The University of Murcia, through the Cell Therapy Network (TerCel), organizes this Friday, March 15, the day 'UniStem Day', which will take place in the auditorium of the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca de 9 at 13.30.
The day, which aims to awaken scientific interest among students of Secondary, will be dedicated to the dissemination of scientific research in the field of stem cells.
In this eleventh edition, it will be attended by more than three hundred people, including students and teachers.
This event represents an opportunity to promote learning, discovery and debate of knowledge and innovation issues, starting with stem cell research.
During the day will be announced leading research, students will be shown what is the scientific work and what are the mechanisms behind the latest developments.
As in previous editions, the 'UniStem Day' will bring together universities and secondary schools around the world, involving a total of ninety-nine universities from Germany, Australia, Austria, Colombia, Spain, France, Greece, Holland, Hungary , Italy, Singapore, Sweden, Poland, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
UniStem is the Center for Stem Cell Research at the University of Milan, founded in 2006 by professors E. Cattaneo, G. Cossu, F. Gandolfi and Y. Torrente.
