Representatives of the University of Murcia and El Dulze Growers have held a meeting with the aim of strengthening links between both entities and encourage collaboration in relation to the processes of automation and robotization of the company.
The visit to the facilities of El Dulze was attended by the UMU vice-chancellor of Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society, Alicia Rubio;
and Félix J. García, director of the Office of Transfer of Research Results.
They also attended, among others, Antonio Romero, head of the Research Department of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia (INFO);
and Carlos Franco, from the Department of Territorial Cooperation of the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI).
All of them were received by José Ramón Sánchez, head of business development at El Dulze Growers.
The delegation of the University of Murcia could know in depth the facilities of the company in San Javier, which is dedicated to the packaging of horticultural products.
After the meeting, it was agreed to reinforce protocols of action that unite the business and academic demands, that enhance the employment exchange of students and that promote lasting links.
