The Municipal Corporation of the City of Murcia, represented by all the municipal groups, kept today a minute of silence in La Glorieta, in memory of the 193 fatalities of the attack of 11-M, which took place today 15 years ago.
Mayor José Ballesta said that "today we want to remember the 193 victims who died in that terrible attack, the most important in terms of the number of victims that has occurred in Spain.
But we also do not want to forget those who were victims of attacks before and after 11-M. "
"Our society, Spanish society, has suffered a lot from the scourge of terrorism, but I think we have also set an example of integrity, courage and courage.
Finally we have managed to defeat the ETA terrorism, although there are other threats that hover over us and we can not lower our guard.
We will continue fighting with the force of reason, of democracy and the absolute rejection of violence ", concluded José Ballesta.
Murcia has joined the group of municipalities in our country that have participated in this minute of collective silence convened by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
