The University of Murcia invites the entire university community to participate in the demonstration by the 8M in Murcia (07/03/2019)

The rectoral team of the University of Murcia invites the entire university community to participate in the demonstration organized in Murcia on the occasion of the commemoration of 8M, International Women's Day.

In a statement sent to students, faculty and administrative and services staff, the government team explains that "the University of Murcia, as an institution inserted in our society, will participate actively in the demonstration called tomorrow on the occasion of the International Women's Day ".

The team invites participation, hoping to have "the presence of the greatest number of university and university students possible, demonstrating to Murcia society that our institution is clearly committed to the principle of equal opportunities between men and women."

The meeting point for the university community to congregate and leave as a group for the demonstration will be Avenida de la Libertad, at the height of the Massimo Dutti store, at 6:45 p.m.
