Tomorrow Thursday, March 7, the Romea Theater will host the 'Creators' project, in order to reaffirm the role of women in different cultural disciplines and emphasize the recognition they have received over the years in their professional sector.
During the day, various activities will be carried out to reflect on and expose the role of women in different professional areas, including artistic, cultural and social on the occasion of International Women's Day.
As for the art, it will be counted on murcianas of the stature of Sonia Navarro, Mari Quiñonero, Carmen Cantabella and Tatiana Abellán.
The photograph will be represented by María Caparrós.
Fashion will go hand in hand with Paula del Vás and Ana Gabarrón, who will offer a new vision of fashion as a tool for women's empowerment.
In addition, the interpretation and female sensibility will be discussed with the singers Carmen Carmesí and Alondra Bentley, the dancer Ana Botia, the viola Ana Mba and the actress Eva Llorach, awarded with the Goya for best revelation actress in the last edition.
The Romea Theater will become a space for debate where the experiences of real women in different arts will allow us to know what the role of gender has been throughout the years in each of the disciplines and how the work of 'Creators' has allowed generate an evolution around it.
This day seeks to value the ability of creation and special sensitivity of women in the world of art and culture, to the detriment of the traditionally assigned role of 'muse'.
The day will begin at 11 am with a guided tour of the exhibition and the departure of different routes on the history of women in Murcia, which will take place throughout the city.
In addition, an exhibition will be held with the work of the different 'Creators' installed in the Sala Caballerizas, until March 22.

At 4.30 pm, the debate session will begin at the Romea Theater, which will feature twelve micro-presentations by the selected 'Creators', in which the themes related to the discipline to which they belong will be developed.
The day will end with a gala in which the work of each of the participating women will be recognized, as well as live performances by Alondra Bentley and Ana Botía.
