Monte Romero continued to dictate regional titles (04/03/2019)

The winter campaign is already counting its last weeks as far as the regional track competition is concerned, and this Saturday we will attend another of those culminating chapters that will feature the Monte Romero Stadium, on the University Campus of Espinardo.

There will be developed the Sub16 Championship of the Region of Murcia, as well as the Regional Sub18 in the tests of 800, 1,500 and 3,000ml, along with a new federative control, all under the organization of Murcia Murcia Tovarsport.

On the male Sub16 side, the regional title at 60m.l.

would be for the Eliocroca athlete Pablo Lozoya (7.27), winning in 300 Pablo Antonio Polán, the Nutribán Sociedad Atlética Alcantarilla (38.33) and in 600 the athlete of the UCAM Cartagena Simón Guasp (1: 29.93), doing the same in 1,000 Jaime Ruiz , of Caravaca de la Cruz (2: 58.45).

Alfonso Bonillo, of CA Murcia Tovarsport, won in 3,000 (10: 11.04), with the victory in 60m.

Hurdles 0.91 for Achraf Hassouni, of Alhama Athletics (9.19), also winner in length (5.95) and in height for Cristian Villaplana, of ADA Yeclano (1.75).

Jesús López, of the Nutribán Sociedad Atlética Alcantarilla (3.20), won the pole position, doing the same in triple jump the athlete of the Murcia CA Tovarsport Marcelo Solana (12.65), as well as in weight 4kg.

In the feminine section, the fastest in 60m.l.

Lucía Toledo, of UCAM Athleo Cieza, won in 1,000 (3: 34.38), being the best in 3,000 Chaimane Amirou, of CA Torre Pacheco (13: 18.01) in 60m.

Ginés Sánchez, from CA Nogalte - Puerto Lumbreras Home, won in 3,000 (9: 42.84), with the women's triumph in the same event for Irene Lorente, from Mazarrón Athletics (12: 14.79).

With regard to that federative control, in the masculine section, the athlete of the Murcia CA Tovarsport José Avilés won in 800 (2: 02.80), doing the same in 1,500 Javier Abad, of CA Tragamillas (4: 11.05) and in 60m.

In height the athlete of the CA Murcia Tovarsport Rafael Moreno (1.84), as well as Jose Serrano, of the UCAM Cartagena, in length (6.21) and in the triple jump Javier Aledo, of the Alhama Athletics (13.17).
