The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, opened this morning the Almudí Art Library, along with professors of Art History and Fine Arts of the University of Murcia, and technicians from the Education, Libraries and Culture.
The library has been released with about 3,000 books, whose content includes the subjects of architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, themes of Murcia and catalogs published by the Almudí and will be open in the morning from Monday to Friday from 10 to 13 ,30 hours.
"With the opening of the Almudí Library, we seek to create a specific space for students of arts, architecture and history to find the information they need in their respective works, exams, exercises ... In this way, a direct tool is offered that facilitates the academic formation of the students "said Jesús Pacheco.
As the influx of researchers is verified, it could be opened one afternoon a week.
The library is intended for students of Art History, Fine Arts, Architecture, and anyone interested in consulting the different books and catalogs.
