The hamlet of Cabezo de Torres has prepared a complete program of activities to offer, during the month of March, one of the most important carnivals of the Region.
This edition has organized around twenty activities, among which, as the main novelty, the opening speech will be held for the first time at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium.
It will be next Friday at 10.30 pm with Bibiana Fernández as a pre-announcer.
The association will offer free buses from the village so that neighbors can attend the event.
In addition this year the Peñas Huertanas Federation will deliver the Carnival Mask that will be burned on March 9 at 00.30 in the Plaza de la Iglesia.
The students of the parish will be the protagonists of the first parade of the Carnival that will take place also next Friday from 16 hours.
The large parades of comparsas, in which 1,200 people will participate distributed in 33 groups, are celebrated on days 3, 4, 5 and 9 March.
The councilor for Economic Promotion, Cultures and European Programs, Jesus Pacheco, has invited "all Murcia to visit during these days Cabezo de Torres to know the color, the sympathy and originality of the carnival of the district whose Carnival is declared of Regional Tourist Interest ".
