ODSesiones, the program of activities of the University of Murcia for the awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, has dedicated this Monday to a day full of educational, informative and recreational activities around objective 1: 'End of the poverty'.

The events have begun with a solidarity fair, in which different NGOs have installed informative spaces in the faculty of Social Work.

Next, Jesus Abandoned, Proyecto Abraham, Eticambio, Cáritas, CEPAIM, Health and Community Foundation, EMAUS, OIKIA and the Red Cross have presented their projects to eradicate poverty.

After the presentation of projects, Manuel Marcos Sánchez, general secretary of the Family and Equality Council, has reviewed the main social policies implemented by CARM.

As a complement to these acts, the Fundación Proyecto Abraham, in collaboration with two students of Fine Arts, has designed and painted one of the clothing collection points that have been installed.

In addition, a workshop was held by the Oikía association on wealth, welfare and happiness.

ODS in the curricula

The next events of the UDS Unions agenda will be two sessions of reflection and debate on the incorporation of the SDGs in the curricula of Spanish universities.

The sessions will take place in the Faculties of Economics and Business, and Social Work next Thursday, February 28.
